Classy and modern, Kellyville Kitchens offers doors in traditional veneer or restructured veneer finishes.
Veneer is a 1mm slice of timber which is joined together and then laminated to a board. The board is cut and edged with veneer edging and then sprayed with polyurethane for added protection and strength. The beauty in the grain of the wood and the natural timber colours gives the kitchen a warm feel and a classic modern look. The veneer door can also be combined with a plain colour polyurethane door to get a contemporary, modern look.
Natural veneer does have inconsistencies as it is cut from different trees or parts of the tree. The inconsistency is what gives the natural product a special beauty.
If you don’t want that inconsistency, Kellyville Kitchens also offers restructured veneer doors. This is a poplar or birch veneer which is sliced, joined, re-cut and dyed to give a more consistent appearance across all doors and panels.
