Melamine Doors

Attractive, hard wearing and great value.
Melamine is a process where a printed paper is impregnated with melamine resin and then pressure and heat pressed to moisture resistant, medium density fibre-board (MDF). The cabinet doors and panels are then cut out of the sheets of melamine board and edged with a 1mm or 2 mm ABS edging to give a square-ish or ‘radiused’ edge to the door. The edging is knock resistant and hard wearing.
The melamine has high impact and scratch resistant and is a good value, attractive door. The edging joint to the door is slightly visible. The doors have the same finish and colour to both sides and in the case of a damage, the doors can be easily replaced at a reasonable price.
